January 1: Buckle down and get serious about your relationship with Me. As things progress and change, you must be sufficiently agile to do what is necessary to protect your spiritual connection and to fight against all that which will interfere with righteousness, peace and joy in the Spirit. Strengthen yourself in My power, says the Lord. Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

January 2: Protect the things that are precious in your life. Put up a shield against that which the enemy would try to tear down and destroy. Secure your sense of right and wrong, your moral values. This is a time to delineate between the precious and the vile and to defend righteousness. Above all guard your heart with all diligence, says the Lord. Jeremiah 15:19 Therefore thus says the Lord: "If you return, then I will bring you back; you shall stand before Me; if you take out the precious from the vile, you shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, but you must not return to them."

January 3: Rise above contention and division. You can settle yourself if you let go of disturbances and access peace. I would have you live on a spiritual level where you can trust Me in all things. I will lead you in the path of righteousness, peace, and joy. Allow tranquility to be your way of life, says the Lord. It will bring health to your body, soul and spirit. Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

January 4: When you feel that you do not fit in society, or that you are unacceptable, understand that I did not create clones. You were created a unique and wonderful individual. I do not love one person more than another. Receive My love and strive to develop a relationship with Me in the spirit realm. Just because you cannot see Me does not mean that I do not exist or that I do not know and acknowledge you, says the Lord. Come to Me. Psalm 139:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.

January 5: I am with you to guide you into My will and purpose for you. Do not be afraid. I will speak to you in ways that are easy for you to understand. And, I will direct you. However, you must position yourself to be sensitive to My Spirit. Spiritual awareness is developed as you spend time in My presence, says the Lord. Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

January 6: There are still issues that need to be sorted out before you can break free from troubling circumstances, but on the whole you have come a long way and have accomplished a great deal. Refuse to allow the last nagging details to steal your peace and keep you from strong faith in Me to show you what you must do next, says the Lord. Onward and upward! Isaiah 50:10 "Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God."

January 7: Be alert to the first small movements of a new flow of divine life. It will be subtle at first, but as you allow that flow to have a place in your spirit it will begin to grow and develop into a mighty current of life and inspiration. Remember that you are making a place for My life to manifest in you, says the Lord. Psalm 36:9 For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.

January 8: Ask for wisdom as you navigate the issues of the new year. Let Me guide you into proper action for every situation. Nothing is too hard for Me, says the Lord, and when you are one with Me nothing is too hard for you. Partner with Me in all things and go forth with the confidence that you are well able to accomplish what is before you. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

January 9: Behold, I send angels before you into this new year, a season of extraordinary significance. I will use you by sending you as My emissary into seemingly impossible situations. I will send you with My power and strength and wisdom to do the exact right thing to extricate those who are in the throes of the enemy. Trust Me and know that you are not alone in all that I send you to do. Luke 4:10 For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you.

January 10: Every decision you make that is consistent with kingdom values will cause you to advance on the path that I have chosen for you, says the Lord. Your obedience to fulfill your commission is of utmost importance. Do not underestimate your impact on others. What you do and say will either lift up or tear down the people around you. My will is for you to always do good. Psalm 34:14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

January 11: Many of you are struggling to wake up spiritually. You have been dumbed down by the chaos that has prevailed in the natural realm. I would have you pull away from everything that has anchored your soul and spirit to the earth. Refuse to be dragged down by circumstances, and do not worry. And set your mind on things that bring hope and have eternal value, says the Lord. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

January 12: I am looking for those who will become true seekers in My kingdom. I am searching throughout the earth to see who desires to come into My presence. You have to take the first small step in My direction, and I will take a giant step to meet with you, says the Lord. You must believe that I exist and that I care for you. Then, you can come. Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

January 13: In a vision I saw an old and completely dilapidated house. The foundation was cracked the exterior siding was rotting, and it needed new windows and roofing. The interior of the house was badly damaged and in need of repair. I watched as the cracks in the foundation were filled in, and the exterior of the house, roof and windows were replaced. In the interior, the wiring and plumbing were repaired, the walls were replaced and painted, and the appliances were upgraded. What was once condemned became a beautiful habitation. And, the Lord said, "Behold, My House!" Ephesians 2:19-22 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

January 14: Make a thorough examination of yourself and circumstances to understand why you do what you do. When you get to the bottom of your motivations, you will be able to separate right from wrong. You will be able to see whether or not your actions are consistent with the truth and My word, says the Lord. Do not be afraid to look. Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

January 15: Your hard work will pay off if you refuse to get discouraged. Do not give up. It is time to press through the obstacles that you face. I am with you to help you achieve My goals and purposes in your life. Only believe! I am with those whose hearts are set on fulfilling My will, says the Lord. Psalm 84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

January 16: As you, My people, are faced with navigating life's difficulties and intricacies, you need My wisdom. You will find yourselves dealing with issues that are beyond your depth, but I possess all knowledge and understand all things. You can ask Me for wisdom and direction in every situation, and I will provide it. You need only to ask in faith, knowing that I will answer, says the Lord. James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

January 17: Take an inventory of where you are--your thought process and way of doing things--and see if there are adjustments to be made. This is a time when you can get organized in ways that will benefit your work flow. Your ultimate goal should be to prioritize in a way that allows you to spend time with Me, says the Lord. Psalms 27:8 When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, Lord, I will seek."

January 18: You represent Me in the world. You are a face of Christianity. Live your life in a way that exhibits the fruit of My Spirit, says the Lord. Let your light shine. Set yourself apart from worldly systems and attitudes and let love rule in your heart. Galatians 5:22-23a But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

January 19: I speak to those who have been traumatized by the things you have endured, and I say to you that I am your Healer. Allow Me to bring comfort and to give you the strength to move beyond the pain. You will always remember what happened to you, but it will not always hurt. Set your mind and heart on rising above the things of the earth to walk and live in the Spirit, says the Lord. Isaiah 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.

January 20: Regardless of what comes at you, I am with you to bring you through to clarity and victory. Be strong and resolute, and refuse to allow fear or panic to take you out of the flow of My Spirit. Take whatever time is necessary to quiet your thoughts and emotions, and then ask for wisdom about your next step, says the Lord. I will show you the way. James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

January 21: In a vision I saw what looked like a horizontal rainbow with layers of transparent color. And the Lord said that these colors represent different levels or expressions of glory. He also indicated that He would expand our understanding of glory. 1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

January 22: Be diligent to keep pressing to find Me in the midst of troubling situations. This onslaught is temporary, but will require concerted effort and focus to overcome. Trust Me in these things to bring clarity and to further define purpose, says the Lord. Don't leave Me out of the process. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

January 23: When you feel vulnerable make a concerted effort to do what it takes to be as safe as possible. However, you must not forget that abiding in Me is your ultimate security. I am your safe harbor in the midst of a storm. Come and hide yourself in Me, says the Lord. Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

January 24: Rise up. It is time for your to move higher in the realm of the Spirit. Do not wait for others to join you or keep you company. You will have to stand alone in your convictions and relationship with Me, says the Lord. You cannot ride on someone else's coat tails. It doesn't matter what others around you are doing or thinking. You must be righteous if you are the only one in a crowd. Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

January 25: Prepare to make changes that can strengthen your position in health, relationships, and finances. I do not speak of great, sweeping change, but of tweaking your current state of being. These will be small adjustments that will reap great rewards, says the Lord. Be flexible; I will direct your steps. Jeremiah 10:23 O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.

January 26: Be alert and watch for doors to open that have been closed for some time. You can now move ahead in unexpected and surprising ways. Do not be afraid of getting off track. I am leading you in ways that will be greatly beneficial to you. Never forget that I am with you and for you, says the Lord. Psalms 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

January 27: Watch and be aware that the enemy will try to draw you into old traps. The result of falling into the same trap over and over again will result in your inability to move forward as you encounter one dead end after another. Now is the time to pay attention and to learn to avoid the first step that leads you down the wrong path, says the Lord. Stay in the flow of My Spirit. Ecclesiastes 9:12 For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, like birds caught in a snare, so the sons of men are snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.

January 28: Among all the concerns you have in life, your number one concern should be to stay alive in Me, says the Lord. The world around you screams for your attention, but My still small voice is what you must hear. Filter out the things that fight against your life in the Spirit. Quiet yourself and maintain the peace that comes with relationship with Me. Set your mind and heart on things eternal. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

January 29: Make an evaluation of how you have handled problems and dilemmas. There is still internal work to be done before you can truly depend on Me for wisdom and direction. Self-reliance and fear are two areas to consider. I really am your hope for doing what is right and good in every situation. But you must trust Me, says the Lord. Psalm 56:3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

January 30: Regardless of what you are going through, make every effort to maintain a positive outlook. Look beyond temporary hardships to know that I am with you to give you the wisdom and help that you need. The things you endure at this time will actually strengthen your resolve if you allow it, says the Lord. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

January 31: Shake off the spirit of slumber and wake up. Many of you have been dozing through life to avoid unpleasantness. But in your sleep you also miss My input. Being partially awake doesn't work if you want to be aware of the moving of My Spirit, says the Lord. It is advantageous to you to be sharp mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Romans 13:11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
