August 1: Stay protected within the boundaries of My will. Being truly righteous will keep doors to the enemy closed so that you are not vulnerable. Examine yourself to see and understand the areas in your life where you are spiritually weak. Stand strong in relationship with Me, says the Lord. I will direct you away from potential danger and keep you safe. Psalm 4:8 I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

August 2: Great reward awaits those who have been unwavering and diligent to do all that I ask. I call you good and faithful servants, and it is time to reap the benefits of your service. What you have done in secret will be rewarded openly, says the Lord. Well done! Matthew 25:21 "His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ "

August 3: Let there be an end to whining and be thankful. I have been with you every step of the way. I have shown you things that you would never have been aware of. I have directed you and kept you. You are My chosen. Strive to maintain sweet relationship with Me, says the Lord, and access the strength and perfection that I have provided. 1 Chronicles 16:34 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

August 4: Take every opportunity that presents itself to adjust and correct situations that have been difficult and wrong. Adjustments will open the way to move forward without hindrance, says the Lord. But, you will have to deal with things that would be easier to ignore. Set yourself on a path of truth and righteousness. Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

August 5: Growth is the epitome of incremental change, and your desire for spiritual growth requires change. The only thing holding you back is your resistance. You can't keep things the way they are and grow at the same time. Something has to give, and that would be your will. Be willing to let go of everything that has outlived its usefulness in your environment, says the Lord. Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.

August 6: As landscapes take on different textures with the change of season, so will your life reflect internal spiritual growth. Move with the flow of transformation. You have come a long way, but you are not yet perfected. Internal change will be expressed externally, says the Lord. Refuse the temptation to suppress who you are becoming for fear of rejection. 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

August 7: It is important that you communicate clearly in these days. Misunderstanding could create unnecessary problems. Be open, honest, and willing to listen carefully to others in order to alleviate frustration. Presumption is your enemy, says the Lord. Stay with what you know to be true. Apply the truth of My Word to every situation. Psalm 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

August 8: Be calm and refuse to allow circumstances to upset you. Remember that I have everything under control, and you need not worry. This time will require faith and patience for you to get through successfully. Steer clear of fear and allow My Spirit to guide every step, says the Lord. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

August 9: Ask and I will give you the wisdom you need to solve difficult problems and to set you on the right path to fulfill destiny. Complexities that are beyond your understanding need My input, says the Lord. You cannot do this alone. Let Me help you. Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

August 10: Even though you encounter unexpected situations, you must take things in stride and not allow that which is temporary to interrupt the flow of the eternal Spirit, says the Lord. The stress of this time will pass and you will be stronger and wiser than you were before. Every day is an opportunity to see Me at work in your life. You are truly being transformed, but transformation is sometimes painful. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

August 11: Beloved, you are still in a very dry time spiritually as you finish up what you started some time ago. You have to get through this time before you can find the fresh anointing for the next season. Don't get ahead of yourself. Take one step at a time and deal with one thing at a time to get through this tedious place that will require patience and perseverance, says the Lord. I will give you the strength to endure. James 1:4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

August 12: Life becomes tedious at times, but you need to rise above weariness by re-focusing on your spiritual walk. Stir up a fresh interest in your vital and tangible relationship with Me, says the Lord. Lift your vision higher! Deliberately draw near to Me and experience the reality of My kingdom. It will be good! Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

August 13: You will begin to make substantial progress in places that have been hard to navigate. This is not a time to get discouraged, but rather a time to trust that all things are working together for your good, says the Lord. You've worked hard to get this far, but your efforts will be rewarded. Psalm 27:13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

August 14: Refuse to get overwhelmed with the things you have to deal with. This is a new day, and you must take one step at a time as you move forward. Be deliberate in making choices line up with My Word. Let righteousness reign, says the Lord. Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be overthrown.

August 15: This is a time like no other for you to rely on Me and stay close. Stand strong in faith and be courageous in the face of adversity. I am your God. I know you and love you. You are under My protection, and I will guide you, says the Lord. Psalm 91:1-7 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

August 16: Unusual circumstances continue to create a sense of instability. However, I am your firm foundation, the Rock on which you can stand. Stabilize yourself in Me. Trust that I will bring you through these difficult days with strength and grace, says the Lord. Psalm 94:22 But the Lord has been my defense, and my God the rock of my refuge.

August 17: Regardless of confusion and chaos take the time to establish yourself in peace. I'm not talking about worldly peace; I am talking about the peace that only comes through Me, says the Lord. It is a peace that is beyond thought or understanding and only comes by the Spirit. Be still. Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

August 18: Establish your faith in Me by learning what I will do. Bolster your faith by remembering what I have done in the past. Remember that you cannot be in fear and have faith at the same time. You must trust that I hear and answer the prayers of the righteous, says the Lord. Activate your faith by believing I will do what I have said in My word. Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

August 19: Stay in step by not getting ahead or lagging behind. I am setting a brisk pace for moving forward from the place of spiritual stagnation. Maintain a constant gait as you stay close to Me, says the Lord. Awaken now from marginal consciousness to be quick and alert. Let new life spring forth that will overcome all darkness and complacency. Ephesians 5:14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light."

August 20: You are on the road to breakthrough. Never doubt My ability to lead you to a new place of light and truth. Even though the path has been narrow and rocky, I am bringing you to greater spiritual heights. Every thing that you experience is for the purpose of drawing you near to Me, says the Lord. Prepare to experience a new level of strength and stability. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

August 21: Many things have required your attention and effort, and it has been difficult to maintain spiritual perspective. But, I would have you put aside the busyness of every day and deliberately come into My presence. Only there will you receive divine restoration and renewed vitality. I want you to partner with Me in all that you do, says the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

August 22: Examine yourself to see if you are in the Spirit. When you get upset or annoyed, it is the operation of your carnal nature, which is actually a position of being haughty. Now is the time to learn to rise above petty issues and walk in the Spirit. Stop contention before it causes division, says the Lord. Psalm 37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret—it only causes harm.

August 23: Ask for wisdom and move in the direction of solving difficult problems. It could be a protracted process, so set yourself to do what it takes for as long as it takes to achieve breakthrough. You have put off taking necessary action, but the time has come for resolution. Do not be afraid. I am with you, says the Lord. Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

August 24: Your life has a lot of moving parts that are in process of lining up before you can proceed. You just need to be patient as you allow all of the pieces to fit together properly. In the meantime, do not become discouraged or lose hope. Remember that all things are working together for your good, says the Lord. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

August 25: To those who feel like you are in the doldrums with no wind in your sails and that you're not getting anywhere, settle down. Everything is happening in a perfect timing that you cannot understand yet. There are things that need to come into line with My plans and purposes before you can move forward, says the Lord. Be patient. Ecclesiastes 7:8 The end of a thing is better than its beginning; the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

August 26: Harvest time is upon you, says the Lord. You will begin to reap a harvest from the spiritual seeds you have sown, but the enemy has also planted things that you will need to deal with first. I will show you the things that have tried to overtake the goodness and bounty of this season if you will quiet your soul and be sensitive to My leading. Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn."

August 27: Leave behind the things that have kept you anchored to the world. I would have you soar like an eagle into the realm of My Spirit. But, you cannot do that as long as you are worried and obsessed with your natural life and circumstances. Allow Me to bring you higher and closer to Me, says the Lord. Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

August 28: There are obligations and tasks that you have continued to put off. It would be to your advantage to stop procrastinating and deal with those dreaded issues, says the Lord. Those things that you have postponed will not go away, so end the stress that comes with dread by doing what you need to do. Philippians 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing.

August 29: Honestly assess aspects of your life to see and know the relevance of your activities with regard to your kingdom position. This is a time to separate the precious from the vile--the positive from the negative--and make the necessary adjustments. Every day away from My presence is a day wasted, says the Lord. You know the difference between good and evil, and it's time to rearrange your priorities and choose to carry out My will and purposes. Jeremiah 15:19 Therefore thus says the LORD: "If you return, then I will bring you back; you shall stand before Me; if you take out the precious from the vile, you shall be as My mouth."

August 30: You have had to come face to face with difficult circumstances. It hasn't been fun, but when you break through you will have no regrets about what you did or how you did it. Stay true to Me alone. There will be plenty of pressure to have others direct the outcome of this current time, but you must only trust Me to direct your steps and establish a perfect path, says the Lord. Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

August 31: Take a breath and release all tension. Do your best to simplify your life in every area possible. Complexities create stress and confusion. Stay with the basics, and maintain your awareness of My input, says the Lord. Your relationship with Me is always what counts the most. Stay connected! Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
