WE CAN DO GOD’S WILL

We are to seek God’s will, learn God’s will and know God’s will. We are to obey God’s will and share God’s will. His will is written all throughout the Bible. When we get into His word, we are seeking His will. When we pray and trust in Him, we are learning God’s will. When we make it a practice to spend time with Him, we will know His will. When we step out and do what He calls us to do, we will obey His will. When we speak to others about what He is doing in our lives, we are sharing His will. There is something we can do all day long that is part of God’s will. Why not start today?

SCRIPTURE:
Acts 5:29 “But Peter and the apostles replied, ‘We must obey God rather than any human authority.’” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. List what you know about God’s will.
2. Write down what you can still learn.
3. Ask God to show you how to obey His will.
4. Strive daily to obey Him and seek His will.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we want to know You better. We want to seek Your will. Help us not to be distracted but to live for You all day long doing Your will and sharing Your word with others. We know the more we read Your word, the more we will know You. We know them more we know You, the more we will know Your will. We want to dig deeper into Your word, focus on You and live only for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
Knowing God’s will becomes reality when we know God.

When we read God’s word and allow it to sink into our hearts, we will learn His will.

God’s will is for us to know Him and share His word with others.

God’s will is for us to understand who He is and draw close to Him.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 “This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” (NLT)

When we know Jesus, we will know God’s will for our lives.

FOCUS:
John 7:17 (Jesus said) “Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether my teaching is from God or is merely my own.” (NLT)

Every day we aren’t seeking God’s will is a day we aren’t keeping our eyes on Jesus.
