Welcome Rachel, so glad you signed in to say hello. It is suggested that we go to 90 meetings in 90 days, to look for a home group and a sponsor. Your sponsor doesn't have to be from the group that you feel most comfortable in.

It is best to have a face to face sponsor. We do have a private check in section in which you can share your journey with us and ask any questions. We are all here for you. There is a lot of recovery material on the site.

Hi Rachel

Glad you found us. Congratulations on the beginning of your journey. I, too, suggest that you begin to go to meetings. Listen to women share and seek someone who has the kind of recovery you desire and ask her to be your sponsor.

Always better to have someone you can meet face-to-face. In the meantime we are here for you. Feel free to private message us or start a thread in our Daily Check In forum.
