Default Talk To God

TALK TO GOD

Many of us put off praying until we need something. Many of us can't find time in our busy schedule to stop and pray. We think one day we will schedule a regular prayer time. However, we should put prayer first in our lives and in our days. We should spend time talking with God, listening to Him and reading His word. We should pray while there still is time to pray and at just the right time, He will hear us and help us. He is all we need!

Psalm 32:6 "Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment." (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for the time we have alone with You. Thank You for caring enough about us to give us this life we have on earth. We know we owe our lives to You. We know we should spend more time praying to You, meditating on Your word and doing Your will. Help us to remember our priorities and put You first in our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We don't know all God knows but He knows when it is time for us to have what we truly need.

Taking time to pray for others and for ourselves will get us back on track in doing God's will.

God has given us this life and we are called to be obedient to Him in all things.

Prayer should be a part of our daily lives just as eating, drinking and sleeping is part of our lives.

God hears us and He will help us at just the right time.

2 Corinthians 6:2a "For God says, 'At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.'" (NLT)

Focus: When we take time to talk with God and put Him first in our lives, He will listen and answer.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
