Who We Really Are
Someone who can show us all who we really are by allowing us to see who they are is someone all of us will need to find when we begin our recovery. And in recovery there are lots of people who we can choose from who will be willing to do just that for us. Our success in recovery will be based on all of us being willing to allow ourselves to be helped so that all of us can find out who we really are. If all of us could have done this some other way we would have all done this by now, but can't, and it seems there is no other way for all of us to be able to accept who we are, then to have someone else show us how they are comfortable with who they are, and that it's okay for us do the same thing for ourselves. None of us will be able to like who we are until we have someone who is willing to show us this, and all that we have to do is to ask someone in recovery, and they will be more than happy to do just that for us, so we can do this ourselves.
