Someone To Talk To
 

SOMEONE TO TALK TO

There are times when we feel like no one understands. We talk with others and the way they listen makes us feel like they don’t really care. We talk with others and the way they react to us makes us feel like they don’t really understand. No one can understand us the way God understands us. He created us. He knows why we do what we do. He watches over us. It just makes sense to go to Him for comfort and reassurance when we feel like we need someone to talk to.

Psalm 33:13-15 “The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for being with us at all times. Thank You for being ready to listen when we need to talk. Thank You for understanding us and knowing us so completely. We give You the honor and glory You deserve today because of who You are. You are more than we could ever imagine or understand, yet You love and understand us and are willing to spend time with us. And we thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we feel like no one is wanting to listen to us, God is.

When we feel like no one cares about what we have to say, God does.

When we feel like no one wants to be around us, God does.

When we will like no one wants to help us, God can.

When we feel like no one wants to try to even understand what we are going through, God understands.

1 Peter 5:7 “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” (NLT)

Focus: We should always go to God with all our cares and worries for He understands us more than anyone else ever could.
