Who or what do you turn to when you have a tough day?

The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. (NLT) Psalm 18:2

A rock provides firm footing and a solid foundation. When it's easy to just give up and we face tough times, who or what do you turn to when you have a tough day? Seek shelter and put your feet on firm footing. Ask God to be the power that saves you.

Daily Bible Devotion

First of to prayer. Depending on the situation and the pain level, meditation with my angel, animal, nature, and Native American cards.

It isn't so much the words, although they can speak volumes, it is about me quieting my mind, being still and finding the calm within the storm. I started out using crystals and I learned that amethyst is cleansing and particularly good for alcoholic and addicts. I wear an amethyst ring. I have amber and turquoise earrings. I have a bag of different crystals that I use all together, individually, or in combination. My God created the heavens and the earth before He made man, it is my thinking that He gives all things purpose, a reason for living, and we are all part of the whole, big and small.

I also read literature of the fellowship(s), my Bible, and inspiration material. I am not alone, my God leads me to what I need and draws my attention to it, often right in front of my face and I can't see it for looking. Sometimes is it as simple as a song, a picture on the TV, the words in the book I am reading, it is all about keeping an open mind.
