Instead, be very glad-because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world.

Today’s Thought: One of the hardest things to do as a Christian is to trust God through trials. We are going to face them. Trusting God through them makes you stronger. Lean on Jesus, He cares and wants to help you!

Today’s Prayer: Lord, I ask that You help me learn to trust You in trials. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Scripture: I Peter 4:19 (NLT): So if you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right, and trust yourself to the God who made you, for he will never fail you.

Today’s Thought: When one is in a battle it is often hard not to trust God. However, it is in these times we should trust Him even more. No matter how hard it gets, how much you want to “throw in the towel,” He will never leave you or forsake you!

Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for never leaving me. I ask that You help me learn to trust You no matter what I am facing. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Thought: God cares about you. He does not just care about a few things, but everything! He cares about you so much that He knows exactly how many hairs you have on your head!

Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You so much for caring about me! Today, I ask that You show me in a tangible way exactly how much You care about me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Thought: The cry of God's heart goes out every day: "Come to Me."

July 6

Thought: God can fix what hurts, especially memories, scars and matters of the heart.

We may believe that God wants to hear only certain requests from us. While it is true that we should offer praise confession, & respectful petitions, it's also true that God is willing to listen to anything we want to tell him. David, the psalmist, expressed himself honestly, knowing that God would hear his voice. God will always listen to us, and He will fully understand what we say.

July 8

1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Today’s Scripture: I Peter 1:4 (NLT): For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

Today’s Thought: Like every loving Father, God gives His children gifts. He has gifts just waiting for us in heaven. What an amazing God we serve!

Today’s Scripture: I Peter 1:8-9 (NLT): You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him, you trust him; and even now you are happy with a glorious, inexpressible joy. Your reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

Today’s Thought: It is so rewarding serving God! He is so holy, worthy and awesome. Today, let’s dwell on everything He has done for us and give Him praise for it all!

Today’s Prayer: Lord, thank You for saving me! Thank You for all Your wonderful blessings in my life! I ask that You always remind me of what You have done for me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Today’s Thought: We can’t be certain about much in life, we can, however, be certain about this: we can trust God. As we go about our day today, let’s put our full trust in Him.

Today’s Scripture: I Peter 1:24-25 (NLT): As the prophet says, "People are like grass that dies away; their beauty fades as quickly as the beauty of wildflowers. The grass withers, and the flowers fall away. But the word of the Lord will last forever." And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.

Today’s Thought: We can trust God. When He says He will do something, He will. Some of us have promises we’ve been waiting on God to fulfill for years or even decades. Do not become discouraged, if God said it, it will happen!

Today’s Prayer: Lord, help me not to be discouraged, instead, I ask that You help me learn to stand on the promises that You’ve promised me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!
